Great to meet you!

An MSW graduate from California State University, Long Beach, I am a licensed clinical social worker who has over 25 years serving clients in my private practice. I enjoy helping individuals and families navigate their life transitions and challenges to restore their health, well-being, and purpose. My clinical expertise include women's health, perinatal mental health, education/career transitions, psycho-oncology, family systems, military and veterans, and grief/loss.

My approach to therapy

Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), humanistic therapy, strengths perspective, family systems, and interpersonal therapy are approaches which I incorporate in my work with clients. My approach is to start where the client is at, and build upon their strengths. I believe that every individual possesses strengths which have aided coping from difficulties or traumas.

What you can expect from me

You can expect a safe, respectful, and engaging environment in which to process your needs. The session is your dedicated time outside of your busy schedule. The initial session will be devoted to "getting to know you" and presenting concerns.
