Great to meet you!

You’re not alone if you’re feeling overwhelmed or disconnected. Maybe you're struggling to find joy, or the pressure to be perfect feels like too much. Perhaps life seems distant, and connecting with family/ friends feels like an uphill battle. You are feeling exhausted from overthinking, overanalyzing, and putting everyone else first. Struggles with food and meal times seem never ending. You might also find it tough to express what you are really feeling. It can be frustrating when society pushes quick fixes like "Just get it together," or "Stop crying," as though it were that easy. But deep down, you know it’s never that simple!

My approach to therapy

I specialize in working with individuals ages 13 and up, of all genders. I have a particular passion for supporting veteran families and perfectionists. While I have extensive experience with eating disorders and trauma, I also specialize in treating depression, anxiety, high sensitivity (HSPs), self-harm, grief, and navigating life transitions. I take a trauma-informed, narrative approach to therapy. I believe the therapeutic relationship is at the core of all therapeutic work (relational approach). My professional experience spans all levels of care, including residential treatment, Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP), and Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP).

What you can expect from me

As a counselor, my role is to empower clients by providing them with a "toolbox" of effective coping strategies to navigate daily challenges. My goal is to help you build a healthier relationship with food, cultivate a more effective perspective body image, and foster a strong sense of self-worth. I am deeply committed to guiding individuals toward becoming their most authentic selves, and I take pride in creating a safe, supportive space where clients can grow. I respect and honor the religious and cultural needs of all individuals, striving to provide an empathetic and creative environment that encourages personal development and resilience.
