Great to meet you!

My work is for women who are tired of cycling through the same relationships no matter how much they already understand themselves. I specialize in love addiction, love avoidance, anxious attachment, and the relational patterns that feel impossible to break even when you can see them clearly.

I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor, the founder of Wilde Counseling, and hold a master's degree in clinical mental health counseling. My background spans community mental health, nonprofit trauma-recovery settings, higher levels of care, and private practice. All of it has shaped the way I work, which is rooted in honoring your resilience, and the quiet ways you've had to hold yourself together for a long time.

Many of the women I work with appear high-functioning from the outside but feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck in patterns that no longer serve them. They grew up taking on emotional responsibility for others, learned to stay attuned to everyone around them at the expense of their own needs, or carry the quiet weight of complex or relational trauma. Anxiety, emotional numbness, dissociation, and relationship chaos are often part of the picture, not as disorders to fix, but as understandable responses to what they've lived through.

My approach integrates EMDR, Internal Family Systems-informed work, somatic and attachment-based therapy, and mindfulness. I move at a pace that prioritizes safety, collaboration, and nervous system regulation. This work is about helping you reconnect with yourself, feel more at home in your body, and stop abandoning yourself to keep someone else close.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is trauma-informed, relational, and collaborative. I view symptoms such as anxiety, emotional numbness, dissociation, or substance use as intelligent adaptations that help you cope. Together, we will work to understand these patterns with curiosity and compassion rather than judgment.

I integrate EMDR, somatic and attachment-based interventions, and Internal Family Systems–informed parts work, with close attention to the nervous system and the therapeutic relationship itself. Sessions are paced intentionally, with an emphasis on safety, consent, and helping you feel grounded in the present as we gently explore the past. Rather than pushing for insight or change before you’re ready, we focus on building enough internal stability so that deeper work feels possible and contained.

What you can expect from me

Many people come in feeling pressure to tell their whole story right away, but I have found that healing work unfolds best when it’s paced with care and respect for your nervous system. I’ll spend time getting to know you, what brought you to therapy, what you’re hoping for, and what feels most important to understand right now, while also making space for any questions or concerns you may have. We may talk about your history and current stressors, but just as importantly, we’ll pay attention to how you’re feeling in the moment. If you tend to feel overwhelmed, shut down, or anxious in new situations, we’ll slow things down and focus on grounding as needed.
