Great to meet you!

I have specialties in trauma, grief, and loss as my primary focus. In order to get this training, I’ve worked with programs in hospitals, with parole, and on the VA campus, as well as within LGBTQ+ community and programs focused on BIPOC clients. I've usually worked within a few areas at a time to make sure I can reach and create the best practice possible with all my potential/current clients.

My approach to therapy

I am eclectic, and create a hybrid with my client to do whatever works best for the client at the time. I’ve been trained in CBT, DBT, TCBT, narrative, psychoanalytic, family systems, gestalt, and solution oriented theories. Aside from that we can can work in mindfulness, somatic theories, and maybe even create something new.

What you can expect from me

My session is set up based on the client’s needs. I can speak science, I can speak art, I am direct, and believe in the e healing of laughter.

Session can be venting about work, discussing childhood trauma, or anything in between. Whatever you need when we speak.

I can also break therapy down into more practical applications by discussing about how to apply what we have discussed each week. Theory is wonderful, but practical applications create change.
