Great to meet you!
I am deeply honored to have had the privilege of working closely with emergency responders, including military personnel, veterans, and their spouses and significant others, as well as athletes, since 2015 when I first began my master's program. Over the years, my passion for supporting first responders and their loved ones has only grown stronger, as I have seen firsthand the challenges they face, both on the job and in their personal lives. As the spouse of a firefighter and having been raised in a military family, I have a unique understanding of the emotional, physical, and psychological toll that post-traumatic stress injury (PTSI), physical injuries, cumulative trauma, and Emergency Responder Exhaustion Syndrome can have on both first responders and their families.
