I am Kristina Morehead, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), with over 10 years of experience in this helping profession. I hold a Bachelor's in Social Work from Lamar University and a Master's in Social Work from the University of Houston. I specialize in supporting minority women while they navigate anxiety, depression, parenting struggles, healing from difficult childhoods, and other difficult life transitions such as relationship or family challenges or making a major change in life.

My approach to therapy is solution-focused, collaborative, and empathic. I prioritize helping clients uncover their strengths and set meaningful goals toward growth, healing, and change. I am also client- centered while emphasizing connection and empowerment. I will tailor my approach to each individual client's needs while holding a safe space to grow.

When a clients walk away from sessions with me, they will feel empowered, supported and equipped with tools to navigate their own path. Clients will develop strategies to manage anxiety, depression, grow their self-compassion, and confidence to create lasting and positive changes.
