Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m a therapist with nearly six years of experience supporting individuals living with severe mental illness. My path into this work has been shaped by time spent across different areas of the medical field, as well as my background as an educator—both of which deeply inform how I show up for the people I work with. I also bring a personal understanding of the impact of severe mental illness, and I hold that with care and intention in this space.

Alongside my clinical work, I am also an activist and advocate within the mental health system, committed to improving access, dignity, and quality of care for those often overlooked or underserved. All of these experiences come together to create a warm, collaborative environment where healing, growth, and hope feel possible.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and centered on you as a whole person. I aim to create a space where you feel comfortable, supported, and understood from the start.

I use a solution-focused approach to help you build on strengths and take meaningful steps forward. I also bring in a precision psychiatry lens to better understand your unique symptoms and patterns, so we can get to the root of what’s really going on.

Alongside this, I draw from psychodynamic therapy to gently explore deeper emotional patterns that may still be shaping your experiences today. I especially enjoy working with individuals navigating complex or treatment-resistant challenges, helping them find clarity, relief, and a path that feels right for them.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a warm, gentle, and welcoming first session where we begin by understanding what’s bringing them to therapy and what feels most important to them right now. I take time to listen closely, get a sense of their story, and gently explore the challenges they’re facing at a pace that feels comfortable.

Together, we’ll identify their goals for therapy and clarify what they hope to gain from our work together—whether that’s symptom relief, improved coping skills, greater emotional stability, or a deeper sense of clarity and self-understanding. I also help translate those hopes into realistic, meaningful steps so they can begin to feel progress in a way that feels grounded and achievable.

My intention is to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel seen, understood, and never rushed, so they can begin building a therapeutic path that truly supports their healing and success.
