Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m so glad you’re here. Reaching out for support—whether for yourself or your child—can feel overwhelming. My hope is that from the very first conversation, you feel heard, understood, and not alone.

For more than 12 years, I’ve had the privilege of supporting adolescents, women, and families as they navigate some of life’s most tender and challenging seasons. I specialize in adolescent mental health and maternal mental health, working with teens facing stress, school pressure, anger, friendship struggles, and identity development, as well as women moving through pregnancy, postpartum changes, motherhood transitions, and shifting family roles.

The teenage years and the journey into motherhood both bring profound change. They can be beautiful—and also exhausting, confusing, and isolating. I strive to create a space where clients can show up exactly as they are: overwhelmed, uncertain, frustrated, hopeful, or all of the above. You don’t have to have the “right words.” You just have to show up.

Before becoming a counselor, I spent many years as a Division I athlete and coach. Those experiences gave me a deep understanding of pressure, performance expectations, resilience, and what it feels like to carry the weight of high standards—whether they come from others or from within. I connect especially well with teens who are driven, competitive, sensitive, or feel misunderstood, and with mothers who are juggling more than anyone sees.

I earned my bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Riverside, my master’s degree from the University at Buffalo in New York, and completed my counseling credential at California State University, San Bernardino. While my education provided the clinical tools to do this work, the greatest lessons have come from the adolescents and mothers who have trusted me with their stories.

My approach to therapy

My goal is to create a space where individuals feel comfortable being themselves—whether they need to talk, vent, problem-solve, or just have someone in their corner.

What you can expect from me

Beginning therapy can feel intimidating. It’s normal to wonder what to say or whether it will help—whether you’re reaching out for yourself or your teen. My goal is to create a space that feels safe, supportive, and grounded from the start.

Sessions are compassionate and nonjudgmental, centered on where you are emotionally. You don’t need to prepare anything—we begin with what feels most present.

With adolescents, we often work through school stress, friendship challenges, family conflict, anger, anxiety, identity development, and performance pressure. I connect especially well with teens who are driven, competitive, sensitive, or unsure how to express their emotions. Together, we build coping skills, strengthen emotional regulation, improve communication, and create space to untangle overwhelming thoughts in an empowering way.

With mothers, our work often focuses on the transition into and through motherhood—pregnancy, postpartum changes, shifting identity, relationship dynamics, and the invisible mental load. You’re invited to speak openly about both the beauty and the exhaustion of this season as we reconnect you with your sense of self.

Each session is collaborative and tailored to your needs. Whether we’re building skills or processing deeper emotions, you can expect empathy, thoughtful guidance, and steady support. You don’t have to navigate this alone.
