Great to meet you!

I understand that reaching out for support can feel overwhelming, especially when life has already been heavy for a long time. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and comfortable showing up as yourself without fear of judgment. I have experience working with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship concerns, stress, self-esteem challenges, and identity-related experiences. As a counselor, I value honesty, connection, and collaboration, and I believe therapy works best when clients feel safe enough to be real about what they are carrying.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, supportive, and grounded in meeting clients where they are emotionally and mentally. I understand that no two people experience life the same way, so I tailor treatment based on each client’s needs, goals, strengths, and personal experiences. I often incorporate trauma-informed, person-centered, cognitive behavioral, and solution-focused approaches while also creating space for reflection, emotional processing, and practical skill building. I strive to balance compassion with honesty while helping clients better understand patterns, improve coping skills, strengthen relationships, and move toward meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, clients can expect a welcoming and nonjudgmental environment where we begin getting to know each other and discussing what brought them to therapy. We will talk about current concerns, personal history, goals for treatment, and any challenges that may be affecting emotional well-being or daily functioning. My goal during the initial session is not to pressure clients to share everything immediately, but to begin building comfort, trust, and a foundation for the therapeutic relationship. Clients can also expect collaboration, openness, and support as we work together to identify goals and create a plan that feels realistic and meaningful for them.
