Dr. Lance Middleton is originally from rural southern Louisiana, where he attended LSU, earning degrees in kinesiology and biology. He earned an M.D. and a Ph.D. (in cancer genomics) from Stanford University. His fascination with the human mind and behavioral sciences inspired him to become a psychiatrist, where he could apply his analytical background to understanding and improving mental well-being.

Dr. Middleton completed his psychiatry residency at the University of California, San Francisco, gaining expertise in the pharmacologic and psychotherapeutic treatment of psychiatric disorders.

He is pleased to offer the depth and breadth of his experience to patients online and throughout the state of California.
