Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Lauren, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist currently accepting new clients. I specialize in working with adults navigating trauma, eating disorders, anxiety, depression, self-harm, chronic illness, life transitions, and LGBTQ+ concerns.

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in creating a supportive space where clients can explore their experiences openly and reconnect with themselves in meaningful ways. I work with individuals seeking deeper healing, greater self-understanding, and lasting emotional growth.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is compassionate, client-centered, and rooted in creating a safe space for exploration, healing, and personal growth. I believe therapy should allow room for deeper processing and self-understanding while also incorporating practical, skills-based strategies that support meaningful change in everyday life.

I draw from attachment-based and trauma-focused approaches, family systems work, and solution-focused therapy, while also integrating techniques from DBT, CBT, and mindfulness-based practices. I tailor treatment to each individual’s unique needs, helping clients build insight, while also teaching and building coping skills.

What you can expect from me

My priority in a first session is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel seen, heard, and comfortable showing up as yourself.

We will also spend time discussing what brings you to therapy, your current challenges, and what you hope to gain from the process, while also moving at a pace that feels right for you. The first session is an opportunity to begin building trust, connection, and a therapeutic relationship grounded in compassion and understanding.
