Great to meet you!

I’m a really good listener; everyone's life story and intersectionalities are very important. You can ask questions and we can discuss expectations. We will discuss reachable goals. I offer homework as it applies. I work with anyone who wants a partner in the therapy process. I work with LGBTQIA+communities, creatives, athletes/retired athletes, health and science professionals, entrepreneurs, older people, BIPOC, second-generation and people new to the US, and people in helping professions.

My approach to therapy

I have trained in psychoanalytic approaches. Impacted by the AIDS epidemic and then 9/11, I am attuned to loss, trauma, and PTSD. Working with dancers for almost 15 years has given me a greater understanding of mind-body integrations and how everyone can tap into their creativity. I continue training in aging issues. I also work as a career counselor in the areas of work, career, and transitions. I continue to train in telehealth, DBT strategies, decluttering issues and anti-racism.

What you can expect from me

In an initial meeting and beyond, you can always ask questions and we can discuss expectations. I will ask for both background and current information. Progress includes mutual communication and dialogue. We will set, review, and reset reachable goals. I will offer homework as it applies, which may include reading, social media or other resources, exercises, or networking/support ideas. I work with anyone who wants a partner in the therapy process, both newcomers and therapy veterans.
