Great to meet you!

With over 20 years of experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), I support adolescents and young adults as they navigate anxiety, depression, life transitions, and the many challenges that can arise during periods of growth and change. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in creating a safe space where clients feel seen, supported, and empowered.

Throughout my career, I have worked in a variety of medical and clinical settings, providing care to individuals and families facing complex emotional and health-related experiences. I have specialized expertise in grief and loss, death and dying, and helping clients cope with serious and life-limiting illnesses. I understand the profound impact these experiences can have on emotional wellbeing and work alongside clients to build resilience, process difficult emotions, and find meaning and connection through challenging times.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, strengths-based, and centered on each person's unique story and goals. I believe meaningful change happens when clients feel supported, respected, and actively involved in the therapeutic process. I work alongside individuals to identify their existing strengths, values, and coping skills, and to build on those foundations in navigating life’s challenges.

Therapy is a partnership, and I aim to meet each person where they are while supporting growth, resilience, and self-compassion along the way.

I specialize in working with adolescents and young adults navigating anxiety, depression, and serious illness. In addition, I have expertise in supporting individuals as they move through major life transitions and other significant stressors that can impact coping, functioning, and overall quality of life.

My work focuses on providing compassionate, strengths-based care that helps clients build resilience, increase self-understanding, and develop effective strategies for managing life’s challenges.

What you can expect from me

In our first session together, you can expect a collaborative conversation where I take time to learn more about what is bringing you to therapy and the challenges you have been experiencing. We will begin to explore your goals for therapy and what you hope to gain from our work together, while also giving you the opportunity to learn more about my therapeutic style and approach.

As we begin to shape a plan for our ongoing work, we will identify areas of focus that feel most important to you. Above all, you can expect a safe, supportive space where you are met with care as we move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
