Great to meet you!

Hello! I'm Lauren, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with more than 10 years of experience working in emergency rooms, inpatient and outpatient settings. I've supported many struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, relationship challenges, and life transitions.

I especially enjoy working with women, including those navigating fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, and the transition into motherhood. These experiences can be complex, overwhelming and so very isolating at times, and I strive to provide a space where you feel understood, supported, and not alone.

I hold a master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Boston College.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, open-minded, collaborative and down-to-earth. I aim to meet you where you are and create a space that feels comfortable, supportive, and genuine. Building a strong therapeutic relationship is important to me, and I don’t think therapy has to feel overly formal—when it feels appropriate, I incorporate humor and prioritize authenticity into our work together.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and see if it feels like a good fit. I’ll ask some questions about what’s bringing you in and what you’re hoping for, and you’re always welcome to ask me anything as well.

There’s no pressure to share everything right away—my goal is for you to leave feeling comfortable and with a sense of whether working together feels right for you.
