Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC), and Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS) with several years of clinical experience supporting individuals through meaningful change. I earned my Master of Social Work from Rutgers University, where I developed a strong foundation in evidence-based, client-centered care.

My practice focuses on working with individuals navigating trauma and/or substance use challenges. I understand how deeply these experiences can impact daily life, relationships, and overall well-being, and I strive to create a space where clients feel safe, respected, and understood. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each person’s unique needs and goals.

Whether you’re seeking support for healing from past experiences, working toward recovery, or building healthier coping strategies, I aim to help you move forward with greater clarity, resilience, and confidence.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, flexible, and tailored to each individual’s needs and goals. I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship is the foundation for meaningful change, so I prioritize creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and understood.

I draw from a range of evidence-based interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Person-Centered Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills. This integrative approach allows me to meet clients where they are.

I work with clients to increase self-awareness, challenge unhelpful thought patterns, strengthen emotional regulation, and develop practical skills they can apply in their daily lives. I also emphasize empowerment and autonomy, supporting clients in identifying their strengths and making choices that align with their values.

Ultimately, my goal is to help clients move toward lasting change, improved well-being, and a greater sense of balance and control in their lives.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a warm, supportive, and collaborative environment from the very first session. My goal is to help you feel comfortable, respected, and heard as we begin getting to know each other. We’ll spend time discussing what brings you to therapy, your current concerns, and any relevant history, while also identifying your goals and what you hope to gain from the process.
