Great to meet you!

I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin. Before returning to my roots in small-town Missouri, I spent 30 years living and working in Austin. I originally grew up in rural Missouri, and now I bring the perspective of both worlds—urban and rural—into my practice.

My background includes supporting clients in private practice, intensive outpatient programs, and psychiatric hospital settings, as well as working with homeless individuals and veterans. I’ve also provided on-site support during acute crises. These experiences have shaped my ability to show up with presence, respect, and compassion—no matter what someone is carrying.

My approach to therapy

I draw from a blend of approaches, including EMDR, always tailored to the unique needs of each client. I’m especially interested in helping people heal from old wounds, shift out of stuck patterns, and reconnect with themselves in more honest, empowered ways.

What you can expect from me

Clients often tell me they feel safe, understood, and gently challenged in our work together. I believe therapy can be serious and lighthearted at the same time—and sometimes, a little humor can go a long way.
