Great to meet you!

If you have ever felt like a kettle pot bursting out with anger, or often feeling confused, rejected, alone, and disconnected from those around you, I want you to know that I empathize with you. As a compassionate and supportive therapist, I empower my clients to connect with their internal experience, give themselves self-compassion, and grow their ability to self-soothe while connecting with the support systems around them. My superpower is helping you grow a deeper awareness of your behavioral patterns, fostering an understanding of the connection between your physiological responses and emotional experiences.

With 5+ years of therapy experience, I have extensive experience working with adolescents, young adults, and adults addressing a variety of challenges, including Major Depressive Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, PTSD, trauma, emotional dysregulation, relationship difficulties, boundary issues, life transitions, suicidal ideation, self-injurious behaviors, and supporting members of the LGBTQ+ community.

My approach to therapy

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with training in Accelerated Resolution Therapy and a passion for empowering individuals to respond differently in stressful situations. My approach is integrative, combining emotion-focused therapy, Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, DBT concepts, and somatic therapies. Through this integrative approach, I cultivate an environment that fosters healing, personal growth, and emotional resilience.

What you can expect from me

My therapeutic approach is a unique blend of empathy, patience, energy, and friendliness, ensuring clients feel heard and supported regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or life choices. My primary goal is to help clients identify and understand their current behavioral patterns, develop emotional regulation skills, challenge maladaptive cognitive patterns, and explore the impact of past experiences on present circumstances. I work collaboratively with my clients, encouraging growth and self-discovery while also gently challenging them to step outside their comfort zones to confront emotional discomfort and trauma. You have lived a whole life full of love, loss, loneliness, and kindness towards others. So, when you leave my office, my goal is for you to cultivate a little more kindness towards the person who has shared life with you, yourself!
