Great to meet you!

Linda Pieve, LMHC is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in New York State who earned her Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She provides a warm, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where clients can feel safe, supported, and understood.

My approach to therapy

Linda works with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, anger, addiction, autism, life transitions, and stress-related challenges. She utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and incorporates nervous system regulation techniques to help clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and physical experiences. Her approach focuses on helping clients develop practical coping skills, increase self-awareness, and create meaningful, lasting change.

What you can expect from me

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a strong therapeutic relationship. We'll discuss what brings you to therapy, your current concerns, relevant life experiences, and what you hope to achieve through counseling. I'll take time to understand your unique circumstances and answer any questions you may have about the therapy process. My goal is to ensure you feel comfortable, supported, and understood while we begin creating a plan that aligns with your goals and needs.
