Great to meet you!

I have always been curious about people, the stories we carry, the experiences that shape us, and the ways we learn to move through the world.

Many of the people I work with come to therapy during seasons of transition, grief, burnout, anxiety, or simply feeling disconnected from themselves. Sometimes the ways we learned to survive, succeed, or protect ourselves stop feeling like the life we actually want to live.

My approach is rooted in the belief that you make sense. Together, we explore your story with curiosity rather than criticism, looking at patterns, relationships, values, strengths, and the different parts of yourself that have helped you along the way.

I draw from Adlerian therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS-informed), strengths-focused practices, and trauma-aware approaches. My work as both a counselor and psychology educator reflects my belief that we are always learning, growing, and becoming.

Therapy with me is collaborative and human. There is space for hard conversations, reflection, growth, and moments of humor.

My hope is that therapy becomes a place where you reconnect with yourself, understand where you’ve been, and feel more intentional about where you’re going next.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, curious, and centered around understanding you as a whole person not just a set of symptoms.

Together we explore the patterns, beliefs, relationships, strengths, and experiences that have shaped how you see yourself and the world. Often, the parts of ourselves we judge the most developed for a reason. Therapy can be a space to understand those parts with more compassion while discovering new ways forward.

I integrate Adlerian theory, Internal Family Systems (IFS-informed), ACT, CBT, mindfulness, and strengths-based practices depending on what fits you. Some sessions are reflective and exploratory; others are focused on practical tools and next steps.

Above all, I hope therapy feels like a genuine conversation. A place where you feel supported, challenged, understood, and encouraged.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, especially if you are used to figuring things out on your own. Our first session is simply a place to begin.

We will spend time getting to know your story...What brings you here, what has shaped you, what feels heavy right now, and what you hope could be different. You do not need to arrive with the perfect words or a clear plan.

My goal is to create a space that feels comfortable, collaborative, and real. We will move at your pace, identify what matters most to you, and begin exploring a path forward together.

And while therapy can involve difficult conversations, it does not have to feel cold or clinical. There is room for honesty, reflection, curiosity, and even laughter along the way.
