Great to meet you!

Hello! I am Lindsey Turner, LPC-MHSP, and I have been a practicing therapist for 8 years. I have a Bachelor's degree in Education with a focus in Instructional and Curriculum Leadership. I completed my Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2020. I spent 2021 and 2022 completing a specialization in Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health in order to support peripartum and postpartum caregivers and infants as they navigate relational and attachment challenges! I enjoy working with adolescents and young adults exploring transition of life issues, anxiety, depression, and adjustment disorders.

My approach to therapy

I use an eclectic style primarily consisting of person-centered, motivational interviewing, and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I work with clients to establish a supportive space for them to present authentically and without judgment.

What you can expect from me

Goals for the first session include obtaining a complete personal history, exploring values, and evaluating how experiences have impacted your quality of life. Most importantly, my goal is to have a conversation with you that feels safe and supportive; a place where you can present exactly as you are and feel welcomed, fully.
