Great to meet you!

I’m a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) who spent the first decade of my career caring for people navigating cancer treatment. Working in oncology taught me two lasting lessons: every moment counts, and every story matters. I carry that mindset into mental-health practice—showing up prepared, present, and fully engaged each time we meet.

I graduated from the University of Miami as a double board-certified Family and Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. My clinical style is straightforward and solution-oriented. You’ll always get an honest assessment, clear explanations, and concrete next steps. At the same time, I believe healing happens in relationship, so I lead with warmth, curiosity, and genuine respect. Whether we’re adjusting medication, practicing coping skills, or untangling a life transition, you can expect me to listen closely and partner with you rather than prescribing “one-size-fits-all” fixes.

Education and evidence matter, too. I stay current with the latest research in psychopharmacology and brief therapeutic modalities, and I translate that science into everyday language you can use. My background in complex medical settings means I’m comfortable collaborating with primary-care and specialty providers to ensure your mental and physical health plans work together seamlessly.

Finally, I’m approachable outside session hours: secure messaging for quick questions, clear follow-up instructions, and timely refills are standard. In short, I bring the clinical rigor of an oncology nurse, the problem-solving mindset of a coach, and the compassion of a trusted partner—all aimed at helping you move forward with confidence.

My approach to therapy

How I approach care

  • Collaboration first. We’ll set goals together and check in on them regularly.
  • Practical solutions. I combine medication management with brief therapy, coaching, and skills-building you can use right away.
  • Whole-person focus. Physical health, emotional wellbeing, work, and relationships all matter—we’ll weave them into your plan.
  • Safe, judgment-free space. Expect honesty, empathy, and clear next steps each visit.

What you can expect from me
