Dr. Linlin Fan is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) and psychotherapist specializing in therapy for individuals across the lifespan. She has extensive experience working in top-ranked hospitals in New York City, including Mount Sinai Health and NYU Langone Health, where she provided therapy for five years. After relocating to California, she continued her work as a therapist at Kaiser Permanente. With over a decade of experience in the field, Dr. Fan has had the privilege of supporting individuals through a wide range of emotional and psychological challenges.
Dr. Fan is trained in multiple evidence-based treatment modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, play therapy, and structural family therapy. She specializes in treating depression, anxiety, complicated grief, and trauma. She is certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and has completed training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Complicated Grief Treatment (Level 2) from Columbia University.
Dr. Fan holds a Doctorate in Clinical Social Work (DSW) from the University of Pennsylvania, a Master of Social Work (MSW) with honors from New York University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Psychology from Beijing Normal University. Over the past 10 years, she has provided more than 5,000 hours of therapy to children, adolescents, and adults.
