Great to meet you!

If you are going through a challenging time, or need help taking steps to create a more fulfilled life, I would be honored to work with you. I specialize in working with unresolved trauma, illness, major life transitions, depression, anxiety, body image issues, grief, co-dependency, addiction, spirituality, and identifying life purpose. I feel that the issues that bring people to therapy are doorways to a deeper relationship with self; entry points to accessing wisdom, clarity, and aliveness.

My approach to therapy

My counseling style is intuitive, compassionate, and curious. I am a somatic therapist, which means in addition to talk therapy, I include the body in the therapy process by working with breath and sensory awareness to facilitate shifts in the nervous system and subconscious mind. I find this integrative approach to be more effective than talk therapy alone.

What you can expect from me

I believe that the foundation for doing good work in therapy is to create a space of non-judgment and presence in which all experience is welcome; where clients feel safe enough to share honestly and vulnerably. During the last 15 years I have been working with clients of all ages as a psychotherapist, coach, mentor, and yoga teacher. I do this work because I am passionate about supporting people in living more connected and authentic lives.
