Great to meet you!

I am a Latinx, bilingual (Spanish) Licensed Mental Health Therapist in the State of New York. I earned my Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University, and an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Montclair State University. I have over 7 years experience working with clients from all walks of life, from childhood to the elderly. In my personal time I am an artist, and I love spending time with my partner and dog.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic style is empathetic, collaborative and solution-focused. I incorporate an array of evidenced-based therapeutic approaches that are utilized to cater to each individual. My background includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, and Psychodynamic Therapy. I believe that in order to improve struggles occurring in the present, one must look in the past in order to understand, and heal the root problem.

What you can expect from me

My goal is to help each client feel heard and seen.I value humor and authenticity and believe they can be powerful tools in the therapeutic relationship. I welcome all LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC communities.
