Hello, I am Dr. Lorraine Crockford licensed MFT, and I want to welcome you to my psychotherapy practice.

I chose to earn my doctorate in human development so that I can focus on the process of humanistic recovery from trauma experience and combine a unique perspective to the multiple realities of recovery educating from the neurological, family of origin, the physiological, life identities, and human life phases to navigate a way to thrive in life.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I provide individual services to adults via video Telehealth in the state of California. Telehealth is an effective venue for receiving treatment. I am certified to provide cognitive processing for PTSD in addition to working with somatic modalities for panic episodes, acute stress, and anxiety.

Improvement in interrupting negative intrusions, rumination and increased awareness of memories that trigger symptoms of overwhelm to empower oneself and shape a life to move forward.
