Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) who earned my Master’s degree in Education from Cambridge College in 2020, with a specialization in trauma. Over the past seven years, I have worked in crisis mental health settings, supporting individuals through some of their most challenging moments. This experience has shaped my ability to remain grounded, compassionate, and effective in high-stress situations, and has informed my transition into private practice where I can offer more personalized, ongoing care.

I have experience working with a diverse population across the lifespan, including children, adolescents, and adults. I am especially passionate about working with teens, supporting them through the unique emotional, social, and developmental challenges of adolescence. My clinical focus includes trauma, anxiety, depression, OCD, bipolar disorder, maternal mental health, and parent-child relationship challenges. I am particularly passionate about supporting individuals navigating the complexities of motherhood and family dynamics.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is collaborative and client-centered. I believe in allowing clients to lead their sessions, focusing on what feels most important to them, while gently guiding the process toward deeper understanding and healing when they are ready. I incorporate humor when appropriate to create a comfortable, human connection, while also encouraging reflection, growth, and accountability.

What you can expect from me

As a Puerto Rican, Spanish-speaking clinician, I value the role that culture plays in shaping identity, mental health, and lived experiences. I strive to provide culturally responsive care and to create a space where clients feel seen, understood, and respected.

My goal is to foster a supportive, open, and compassionate environment where clients feel safe to express themselves freely and motivated to work toward meaningful change.
