Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC) who works with children, teens, and adults. I have a special passion for helping children navigate challenges such as anxiety, emotional regulation, behavioral concerns, family transitions, trauma, and self-esteem. I also enjoy supporting parents as they learn new ways to strengthen their relationship with their child and navigate difficult seasons.

I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Georgia Southern University and my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Georgia. I am currently working toward becoming a Registered Play Therapist (RPT).

My goal is to create a warm, supportive environment where clients feel safe, understood, and empowered. I believe every person has unique strengths, and I enjoy helping clients build on those strengths as they work toward meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

I take a person-centered approach to therapy, which means I tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs, personality, and goals. For children, I often incorporate play therapy, sandtray therapy, creative expression, and other developmentally appropriate techniques that allow them to communicate and process emotions in a way that feels natural. For teens and adults, I blend evidence-based approaches with a supportive and collaborative therapeutic relationship.

I believe healing happens within safe relationships. Whether we are working through anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, behavioral concerns, or relationship challenges, I strive to create a space where clients feel accepted, encouraged, and supported throughout the counseling process.

What you can expect from me

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a comfortable therapeutic relationship. We will discuss your concerns, goals, strengths, and any relevant history that may help guide treatment. For children, the first session often includes meeting with parents and gathering information about the child’s needs and development.

My goal is for clients to leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and hopeful about the counseling process. Together, we will create a plan that reflects your goals and supports meaningful growth and healing.
