Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) with experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families in addressing emotional, behavioral, and daily life challenges. My professional background combines mental health counseling with applied behavior analysis, allowing me to provide structured, client-centered, and evidence-informed support.

I have experience working with individuals experiencing anxiety, stress, emotional regulation difficulties, behavioral concerns, life transitions, social skills challenges, and family-related concerns. As an RBT, I have also supported clients in implementing behavior intervention plans, skill acquisition programs, and strategies that promote functional communication, independence, and adaptive behavior.

My therapeutic approach is supportive, practical, and goal-oriented. I work collaboratively with clients to better understand their needs, identify strengths, develop coping strategies, and create realistic goals that support meaningful progress in their daily lives.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is client-centered, collaborative, and goal-oriented. I focus on creating a supportive and professional space where clients can openly discuss their concerns, identify personal strengths, and work toward meaningful change.

I use a practical and structured approach that helps clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and patterns that may be affecting their daily functioning. My background as both a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) allows me to integrate mental health counseling with behavior-based strategies when appropriate.

I work with clients on areas such as anxiety, stress management, emotional regulation, life transitions, behavioral challenges, family concerns, social skills, coping strategies, and improving daily routines. Treatment is individualized based on each client’s needs, goals, and pace.

My style is compassionate, direct, and solution-focused. I help clients develop practical tools, improve self-awareness, strengthen communication, and build healthier patterns that support long-term progress.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, clients can expect a welcoming, respectful, and supportive environment where they can share their concerns, ask questions, and begin identifying what they would like to work on in therapy. The first session is focused on getting to know the client, understanding their current challenges, reviewing relevant personal, emotional, behavioral, and family history, and discussing what brought them to therapy.

Together, we will begin identifying treatment goals that are realistic, meaningful, and tailored to the client’s needs. These goals may include improving coping skills, managing anxiety or stress, strengthening emotional regulation, improving communication, addressing behavioral concerns, navigating life transitions, or building healthier daily routines.

Clients can also expect a collaborative approach. I explain the therapy process, answer questions, and work with each client to create a plan that feels structured, practical, and achievable. My goal is to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered to begin working toward positive change.
