Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who is passionate about walking alongside you through life’s challenges in a caring, safe, and judgment-free space. I’ve had the privilege of working with children, adolescents, and adults in settings such as private practice, residential treatment centers, group homes, public schools, and a psychiatric hospital. This experience has prepared me to support individuals and families navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, mood disorders, oppositional defiant disorder, bipolar disorder, and domestic violence. I believe therapy is a collaborative process where you can rediscover your strengths, reflect, and explore new possibilities for your life.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is holistic and individualized. I recognize that each person’s story is shaped by their unique experiences and transitions, and I tailor treatment to fit your needs and goals. I draw from Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Solution Focused Therapy, and Social Skills Training. Together, we’ll identify patterns, build insight, and develop practical tools to help you cope more effectively and create meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a warm, respectful, and collaborative environment. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, your history, and what you hope to gain from our work together. I’ll ask questions to better understand your experiences, and we’ll begin setting goals that feel realistic and supportive for you. My priority is to build a strong, trusting therapeutic relationship rooted in mutual care and respect, so you feel comfortable, heard, and empowered as we begin your journey toward healing and growth.
