Great to meet you!

Welcome/Bienvenidos! Culture is of utmost importance in my practice and is part of the foundation to my moral compass. Foundation to treatment is based on mutual transparency, authenticity, and willingness to show up and “get our hands dirty.” I advocate for those whose voices struggle to be heard. I have been in this field for over 10 years and most of my experience has been in the field/community, using crisis interventions, and working with high risk populations.

My approach to therapy

I specialize in the healing process of various sources of trauma (singular or complex). I also specialize in work with children and have played an active role with the California Association of Play Therapists. I have extensive training and experience with these specialties.

What you can expect from me

Therapists are human and all different...sometimes, you have to try a few like a pair of shoes until you find "the right fit." What's most important is your ability to connect and build trust. There is never a destination of complete resolution, but an opportunity to improve the quality of life. Cheers!
