Great to meet you!

I want to start by saying kudos to you for putting yourself out here and looking for a therapist. My name is Maggie, and I am a licensed clinical social worker. The main concerns I work with are depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, grief, stress, and life transitions. The primary modalities I use in my practice are CBT, Narrative Therapy, and SFBT. I believe that through our journey together, I can assist you with learning how to manage your concerns.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I like to use a collaborative, strengths-based, holistic approach in my practice. A big part of my job is to actively listen to your concerns and confirm that I understand you correctly. I will help you see yourself in new ways, encourage you to try new things, and yes, sometimes give you homework.

What you can expect from our first session

I applaud you for putting yourself out there and looking for help. Finding your therapist can feel like Goldilocks looking for the right chair; it just doesn't feel right until you find a good fit. If you think I might be a good fit, please feel free to reach out to me and begin your journey to a better mental state.
