Great to meet you!

With nearly three decades of experience, I offer a supportive, compassionate space where you can move toward the life you truly want. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to help you access, express, and trust that inner knowledge. Together, we’ll work to strengthen your sense of self-worth and gently challenge the negative beliefs that may be holding you back. I have extensive experience helping clients navigate mood disorders, relationship challenges, low motivation, overwhelming stress, self-doubt, and substance use concerns. The goal -help you feel confident, balanced, and empowered in your daily life.

I work with depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, trauma and substance abuse. I am trained in the trauma technique of EMDR. I received a master's in Clinical Psychology from the University of Detroit Mercy.

My approach to therapy

My approach is both psychodynamic and CBT (cognitive-based therapy). Gathering a strong background story is important to know where you are today. How we were raised, and the beliefs we created about ourselves, are often important to investigate.

What you can expect from me

You are an important part of defining how you want your treatment to flow, and what you hope to accomplish. My goal is to investigate with you and help define a strategy to meet those goals. And then implement that strategy.
