Through family-centered, integrated mental health services, the Masonic Center for Youth and Families (MCYAF) helps children and adolescents, ages 4 to 24, enjoy healthier, happier, and more fulfilling lives – at home, at school, and in the future. We work closely with each family to develop customized care plans that meet every client’s unique needs. Our multidisciplinary team of experienced professionals offers practical solutions for everyday problems and helps families to restore harmony and healthy relationships. MCYAF services are provided by licensed, professional clinicians.

My approach to therapy

I am a bilingual marriage and family therapist with more than 20 years experience working with distressed children and families. I have provided therapy and supervision in a variety of clinical programs, delivering individual, group, and family therapy, as well as therapeutic behavioral services. Prior to joingin Masonic Center for Youth and Families, I supervised a team of therapists and social workers in a community mental health setting, where I helped provide safe, high-quality services that enabled families to achieve their potential. I am a strong believer in interdisciplinary, team-based therapeutic approaches that draw strength from each specialist to help families heal. I seek to provide culturally sensitive practices that reduce risk to families experiencing child abuse, neglect, depression, anxiety, and severe mental illness. I enjoy helping to enhance parents’ capacity to support children with severe emotional behavioral disturbances.
