Great to meet you!

I'm a licensed clinical social worker with 20 years of experience in the mental health care field. My specialty areas include: trauma, chronic pain/illness, grief/loss, anxiety, depression and other mood disorders. I have experience working with adults, children, couples including LGBTQ and polyamorous, and geriatric clients.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach varies depending on the client's needs, but I'm trained in the following: CBT, Solution focused, Trauma informed, Behavioral Activation, Strength Based, Family Systems, EMDR, Mindfulness based, Problem Solving Therapy, and more. I let the client lead the way and move forward at the pace that he/she/they are comfortable. My goal is to provide competent and caring treatment in a confidential and safe manner.

What you can expect from our first session

My focus is to help my clients shift their thinking and behavior in a way that works for them. I like to teach practical skills for symptom management to enable clients to feel better and reach their full potential.
