Great to meet you!

Hi! My name is Maribel Uribe (She/Her/Ella), and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. By providing safe and non-judgmental support and encouragement, I assist my clients as they heal and reach their goals. We are so often impacted by previous experiences, and we don't always understand how those experiences influence and impact our present. My goal is to support my clients, so they gain insight and recognize their options.

At this time, I do not to accept EAPs.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy will vary depending on each client's individualized perspective. I frequently come from an Object Relations Therapy lens. Having a better understanding of our childhood experience, without judgment, can help us understand our present situation. I use evidence-based modalities, including CBT, EMDR, DBT, solution-focus, and Gottman therapy. I assist clients to learn skills, gain insight, and experience a sense of personal growth and healing so they can navigate their future.

What you can expect from me

In a first session with me, the goal is to get to know more about you. As my client, you can expect to feel heard and accepted and have a better sense of who I am, my therapeutic approach, and what you can expect in therapy sessions. We will discuss any urgent matters and/or get to know each other better. I am happy to answer questions and share about my education, qualifications, training, and experience.
