Great to meet you!

I earned my Master of Social Work from Columbia University in 1999 and have dedicated my career to supporting adults on their journey toward healing, growth, and emotional well-being. Throughout my professional experience, I have worked in outpatient mental health clinic settings, providing psychotherapy and support to adults facing a wide range of life challenges and mental health concerns. I have experience working with adults navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, stress, self-esteem concerns, and personal growth issues. I value both traditional therapeutic approaches and alternative perspectives on wellness, and I welcome clients who are interested in exploring a variety of paths toward healing and self-discovery.

My goal is to help clients develop greater insight, resilience, and balance so they can move forward with increased confidence, purpose, and well-being.

My approach to therapy

My clinical approach is warm, collaborative, and holistic. I believe that healing involves caring for the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—and I strive to create a safe, supportive environment where clients feel understood and empowered. I recognize that each individual brings their own unique experiences, strengths, and perspectives, and I tailor treatment to meet clients where they are.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my primary goal is to get to know you and begin building a comfortable, trusting therapeutic relationship. We will spend time discussing who you are, your personal history, the experiences that have shaped you, and what has brought you to therapy at this point in your life.

I will invite you to share your current concerns, challenges, and any important aspects of your background that you feel are relevant. We will also explore your goals for therapy and what you hope to achieve through our work together. This initial conversation helps me gain a deeper understanding of your unique circumstances, strengths, and needs so that we can develop an approach that feels meaningful and supportive to you.

The first session is also an opportunity for you to ask questions, share what has or has not worked for you in the past, and determine whether you feel comfortable working with me. My aim is to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, respected, and supported as we begin your healing journey.
