I have over a decade of experience working with adolescents and adults from multicultural backgrounds struggling with anxiety and interpersonal/familial issues. I am passionate about working with women struggling with perinatal/postpartum related issues, loss and infertility, and relationships. I also have extensive experience working with individuals navigating work and career related concerns and challenges.
My approach is very collaborative; my goal is meet you where you are, nurture your strengths, and together, develop a plan to reach your goals. I help clients work through emotion dysregulation that occurs from mood, anxiety and other disorders, as well as the demands of our face-paced, sometimes stressful, world. I primarily use frameworks from CBT and DBT to target emotional distress and intrusive negative thinking.
Together we'll create a comfortable, culturally sensitive environment where you can work on increasing self-compassion through understanding your thoughts and behaviors.
