Great to meet you!

My name is Mark Broussard and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in working with stress and trauma particularly with individuals who struggle with adverse trauma responses, substance use, anxiety, depression, insomnia, chronic illness, relationship struggles and workplace difficulties.

My approach to therapy

My approach is about developing a working therapeutic relationship rooted in a person-centered, Polyvagal Theory Informed, trauma sensitive approaches of EMDR, Trauma Centered Trauma Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY), as well as solution-focused and mindfulness- based interventions.

What you can expect from me

In our first sessions you can expect care and compassion with active listening to complete an intake and develop a treatment plan. Early sessions are to establish a working therapeutic relationship honoring the reasons that brought you here and to honor the process. My practice is unique in that it utilizes movement with talk therapy.
