Great to meet you!
Hi, my name is Marquietta Green, and I’m passionate about helping adolescents and adults feel seen, heard, supported, and empowered. I provide Trauma-Informed Care, which means I view behaviors as reflections of deeper experiences—not simply choices. Many trauma responses are often misunderstood as “bad behaviors,” but when we take time to understand the experiences behind them, we can begin to identify new ways to heal, grow, and build healthy coping skills.
My ideal clients are teens and adults who may be struggling with mood disorders, anxiety, depression, challenges at school or home, peer conflicts, or life changing transitions. I believe that children and adolescents have the ability to create their own identity while also understanding the roles they play within their communities, families, and culture. In our work together, I strive to create a safe and nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their emotions, develop self-awareness, and gain tools to navigate life’s challenges with confidence.
I believe that every young person deserves the opportunity to feel understood, valued, and capable of change.
Outside of therapy, I enjoy playing with my dog, going to the gym, and watching football—especially cheering for my favorite teams!
