Great to meet you!

You should know that my work is grounded in compassion, directness, and genuine partnership. I’ve been a clinical psychologist for many years, licensed in Arizona and Ohio with PSYPACT authority, and my approach blends evidence-based therapy with a deep respect for your lived experience, strengths, and inner wisdom.

Clients often come to me during moments of transition, stuckness, or emotional overwhelm, and my role is to walk alongside you—not as someone who “fixes” you, but as someone who helps you reconnect with clarity, confidence, and calm. I focus on helping people understand themselves, communicate more effectively, navigate relationships, set healthy boundaries, and lead their lives from a place of emotional steadiness rather than stress or reactivity.

I am practical, compassionate, and human. I bring a warm sense of presence, a bit of humor when helpful, and a deep appreciation for the courage it takes to seek support. My goal is to create a space where you feel understood, respected, and empowered to create meaningful, sustainable change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is grounded in presence, compassion, and the belief that every person has an inner wisdom that can guide them toward healing. I see therapy as a sacred space—a place to slow down, breathe, and reconnect with the parts of yourself that have been overwhelmed, unheard, or forgotten.

I blend evidence-based practices with a holistic understanding of mind, body, and spirit. This means we may use cognitive and emotional regulation skills, mindfulness, grounding practices, relational insights, or gentle inquiry to help you understand your patterns and move toward greater peace and clarity. My work is heart-centered, but also practical; we focus on real tools that help you respond to life with more steadiness, self-trust, and compassion for yourself.

I believe that growth happens when you feel safe, seen, and supported. Together, we’ll explore what’s weighing on you, strengthen your ability to navigate emotions and relationships, and help you create a life that feels aligned with your true values and inner light. Therapy with me is collaborative—we walk this path side by side, honoring your pace, your intuition, and your unique journey.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a calm, welcoming space where you don’t have to have everything figured out. We’ll start by getting to know each other—what brings you here, what’s been weighing on you, and what you’re hoping will feel different in your life. There is no pressure to share more than you’re ready for; we move at your pace.

I’ll ask gentle, grounding questions to help us understand your story, your strengths, and the patterns you’re wanting to shift. Together, we’ll begin to explore your goals and outline what our work might look like moving forward. You’ll have room to express your concerns, your hopes, and anything that feels important for me to understand about you.

Most of all, clients often tell me they feel a sense of relief after the first session—a feeling of being seen, supported, and no longer carrying everything alone. My intention is that you leave with a bit more clarity, a bit more calm, and the sense that you are stepping into a process that honors your whole self: mind, body, heart, and spirit.
