Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified Psychiatric–Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) providing comprehensive psychiatric evaluation and medication management through secure telepsychiatry. My approach is collaborative, evidence-based, and centered on the belief that mental health care should feel respectful, personalized, and empowering.

I take the time to truly listen and understand each person’s concerns, history, and goals. Rather than a one-size-fits-all model, I work with clients to create thoughtful treatment plans that balance clinical expertise with individual preferences, values, and lifestyle considerations. I emphasize clear education around diagnoses and medications, so clients feel informed and confident in their care.

My clinical style is warm, non-judgmental, and structured. I strive to create a space where clients feel comfortable discussing sensitive concerns while also receiving organized, goal-oriented treatment. I am especially attentive to medication safety, side-effect management, and ongoing reassessment to ensure treatment remains effective over time.

I provide care for adults seeking support for mood disorders, anxiety, ADHD, and other common psychiatric conditions. Whether you are starting treatment for the first time or looking for a more attentive and collaborative medication management experience, my goal is to help you feel supported, understood, and actively involved in your mental health journey.

My approach to therapy

My approach to providing care is collaborative, evidence-based, and person-centered. I believe effective psychiatric care starts with truly listening and taking the time to understand each individual’s experiences, concerns, and goals.

I focus on comprehensive assessment and thoughtful medication management, using the best available clinical evidence while tailoring treatment to each person’s unique needs, medical history, and lifestyle. Education is an important part of my work—I ensure clients understand their diagnosis, treatment options, and medications so they can make informed decisions and feel confident in their care.

My style is warm, non-judgmental, and structured. I strive to create a safe, supportive environment while also maintaining clear goals and regular follow-up to monitor progress, side effects, and overall well-being. Treatment plans are adjusted collaboratively as needs change.

Ultimately, my goal is to provide care that feels respectful, transparent, and empowering, helping clients build stability, insight, and lasting improvements in their mental health.

What you can expect from me

During your first session with me, you can expect a thorough, supportive, and collaborative experience. This initial visit is a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, and my goal is to fully understand what you’re experiencing and how I can best support you.

I’ll take time to review your current concerns, symptoms, mental health history, medical background, and any medications you’re taking. I ask structured questions while also giving you space to share what feels most important to you. There’s no pressure to have everything perfectly organized—I focus on listening, clarifying, and understanding your unique situation.

If appropriate, I’ll discuss possible diagnoses and treatment options, including whether medication may be helpful. I explain my recommendations clearly, including potential benefits, risks, and alternatives, so you can make informed decisions about your care. Medication is always approached thoughtfully and with careful consideration.

You can expect a calm, non-judgmental environment where your questions are welcome and your input matters. By the end of the session, we’ll outline next steps and a clear plan moving forward. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, informed, and supported in your mental health care.
