Great to meet you!

I have been practicing for 6 years but have been in the psychiatric field for over a decade. My full time job is as a professor at Tennessee Tech University with both undergraduate and graduate students. I love the opportunity to practice and share my passion for psychiatry and mental health.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is a collaborative one. I believe that the provider is an expert in illness and treatment whereas the client is an expert in themselves. I prefer to educate discuss options of treatment so that the client can make an informed decision on the best way forward on their journey.

What you can expect from me

An understanding that there are many options of treatment because we are all different. I want my clients to have a good understanding of what is going on with them from a psychiatric perspective and a good grasp in the best ways to move forward.
