Great to meet you!

I am a father of two little ones who thrives in helping others to reach their personal goals and learn skills to cope with life's stressors and mental health and substance use diagnoses. I received my Master's in Social Work from Syracuse University, and in my career I have worked with a variety of populations - runaway and homeless youth and young adults, adults with mental health and substance use issues, LGBTQI+, veterans, older adults with chronic illnesses, and more.

My approach to therapy

I am a highly empathetic person, with a multi-faceted approach to therapy - focusing on the whole person and tailoring my approach to best fit your needs. My approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and is person-centered and strength-based. Even if you don't believe you have any strengths, I hope to help you discover that you most certainly do. I strive to meet you where you are in each session and help you from there.

What you can expect from me

I hope that all of my clients can leave sessions feeling validated, empowered, motivated, and with a sense of purpose and plan for a path forward.
