Welcome! My name is Matt Poje, LPCC. I specialize in the healing of emotional trauma, using the Instinctual Trauma Response method (ITR). I have 15 years working with Veterans via Department of Defense contracts, and over 23 yrs of professional work experience. I was privileged to work for the LaCrosse County's Crisis Response Team in LaCrosse, WI for 5 years, working alongside our police department in the community. I am licensed in CA and WI. I obtained my Master's degree from Franciscan University of Steubenville, and further training at the Intensive Trauma Therapy Inc, learning the ITR method. If you are ready to work on a proven method of reducing symptoms of trauma, I look forward to work with you. I do not perform diagnostic tests. ITR is not talk therapy in the classical sense, it is a focused, purposeful method of trauma healing and proven to work and help you become more resilient. It teaches you to tell your stories, experiences in ways that don't hurt.

Because of this foundation, I focus on empowering you to learn the ITR method and guide you in applying it to past intense, emotional experiences that might be causing you difficulty or emotional pain. Once you learn the method it opens up a different paradigm by which you can make future decisions for you best life.
