Great to meet you!

I am a bilingual speaking (Spanish/English) Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New York. Growing up, asking for help and making others feel included was deeply valued. I’ve always aimed to create a space where people feel comfortable being themselves. That value remains central to who I am, and continues to shape the way I approach my work. I understand that opening up about personal experiences can feel difficult. Vulnerability does not always come easily, and it takes a great deal to feel safe in a space that is authentic, nonjudgmental, inclusive. That is the kind of environment I strive to provide.

I work with adults who are often the strong ones for everyone else, the ones who hold things together, carry responsibilities quietly, and feel worn down by long-standing stress or trauma. Together, we can focus on understanding these patterns, managing emotional and physical stress responses, and helping you feel more grounded and in control. I specialize in PTSD, anxiety and depression, and I support clients in unpacking past experiences, identifying triggers and phobias, addressing insomnia, and understanding stress and anger. Trauma does not always show up in ways people expect, and it can often intensify symptoms of anxiety and depression.

My approach to therapy

Life can be incredibly hard, and many of us walk around carrying more than anyone realizes; old experiences, heavy memories, and stress that never fully turns off. Sometimes it feels like you’re stuck in your own head, unsure of what’s next and constantly reminded of how much feels out of your control. My goal is to help you slow down, and gently sort through what has been weighing on you, without judgment and at a pace that feels right.

I tailor treatment to your unique experiences while honoring your values and capacity for change. I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Behavioral Activation, adapting each to fit your learning style and needs. My goal is to approach our work in a way that feels clear, collaborative, and aligned with your comfort level. My approach is collaborative, warm, and direct, with space for humor when appropriate. I value compassion, honesty, and curiosity, and I strive to support clients in gently challenging themselves while feeling respected and empowered throughout the process.

What you can expect from me

Together, we will explore what feels most helpful and build a path forward that makes sense for you. My hope is to create a space where you feel safe sharing your experiences, supported in your growth, and encouraged to move forward with greater clarity, confidence and resilience.
