Great to meet you!

I’m Mayra, a licensed MFT, and I’ve been helping people grow and heal since 2022. I work with all ages and a range of challenges, from everyday struggles to moderate or severe concerns. I specialize in CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care, family systems, and couples therapy. I focus on anxiety, depression, generational patterns, self-growth, and navigating life’s changes. Most importantly, I meet you where you are, no judgment, no pressure, just a safe, supportive space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered to take the steps that feel right for you.

My approach to therapy

I take a collaborative and individualized approach, meeting you exactly where you are. I use evidence-based tools from CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed care to help you understand patterns, process experiences, and navigate the challenges of everyday life, stress, relationships, emotions, and more. Therapy with me is a safe, supportive space to be heard, understood, and empowered to grow at your own pace, building practical skills and meaningful change that fit your life.

What you can expect from me

The first session is all about getting to know each other, no judgment, no pressure, just curiosity. Think of it as a “stranger danger” check-in: we’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what’s going on in your life right now, and what you hope to get out of our work together. I’ll also explain how I work and answer any questions you have. Most importantly, it’s a space for you to feel safe, heard, and comfortable as we start this journey together.
