Great to meet you!

Howdy! Whether you’re starting your therapy journey for the first time, or looking to continue with a new therapist, I’m glad you’re here. I work virtually with clients based in NY and CA, and work primarily with young adults who are asking the big questions about life: who am I, how did I become who I am, who do I want to be, what kind of life do I want to live?

My approach to therapy

I bring a sense of connection and levity to our work, and see my role as a collaborator in my clients' exploration of themselves. I find that an eclectic approach helps my clients in deeper ways, meaning I use a variety of modalities in our work together. I have training in evidence-based treatments, including DBT and CBT, and while I find them useful, my framework extends beyond them and is grounded in psychodynamic, attachment, and systems theory.

What you can expect from me

I aim to create a safe, connected space for us to explore the issues bringing you to therapy. We will work together to figure out what you envision gaining from therapy, focusing both on immediate concerns, as well as the systems and experiences that have shaped your life. We will use evidence-based skills to cope with the here and now, while diving deep to understand the origins of your concerns. Therapy should be both hard work AND fun along the way!
