Great to meet you!

I have been a clinical psychologist for my entire professional career. I began seeing patients early in my graduate school training, beginning in 2010, and have continued to do so with dedication and passion ever since. I was drawn to this profession because I desire to help others. I chose to pursue my doctorate because I wanted to research and be trained in the most effective ways to accomplish this. Being trained in a number of evidence-based interventions, I work to utilize the approach that is the right fit for YOU as an individual; I aim to provide evidence-based skills and tools to help you to feel empowered to manage your symptoms in the context of a caring and supportive therapeutic space.

My approach to therapy

I offer a safe and nonjudgmental space for you to work through the difficulties of life. As a clinical psychologist, I work to help identify the elements contributing to your suffering and then provide tools and strategies to help overcome that suffering. I aim to help you to move forward in your life in the direction of your choosing.

What you can expect from me

First sessions are all about getting to know each other. I will ask questions geared toward learning about you and what brings you to therapy. As with all of my sessions, I aim for the first to be conversational with a lot of interaction between us. Most times, by the end of the first session, I have some treatment options in mind and we will discuss and decide together what seems like the best fit for you.
