Great to meet you!

The fact that you’re here reading this tells me something important — you’ve already taken a meaningful first step.

You are not broken — and you are not alone in what you’re feeling.

If you’re feeling weighed down by anxiety, sadness, burnout, or constant overwhelm, you don’t have to keep pushing through on your own. When worry won’t quiet down, depression lingers, or stress feels relentless, it can affect every part of your life. I’m here to help you find relief — and a way forward.

You deserve thoughtful, personalized psychiatric care that combines medication management with therapy when appropriate. Together, we’ll create a treatment plan tailored specifically to you — your symptoms, your goals, and your pace. My approach is collaborative, evidence-based, and grounded in genuine compassion.

My training at Duke University School of Nursing shapes the care I provide today: scientifically informed, patient-centered, and deeply respectful of your unique story. I’ve worked with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, and high stress, and I prioritize creating a space where you feel safe, heard, and understood — never rushed or judged.

I also know that life is busy. That’s why I offer Saturday appointments, making it easier to prioritize your mental health without adding more pressure to your week.

Change is possible. Feeling better is possible. If you’re ready to take the next step, I invite you to schedule an intake appointment today. Let’s begin building the balance and clarity you deserve.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care begins with one core belief: effective treatment starts with truly understanding you.

You are more than a diagnosis or a list of symptoms. Your experiences, strengths, relationships, stressors, and resilience all matter. Together we can create a warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental space where you can speak openly and feel genuinely heard. From our very first appointment, my priority is to understand your story — not just what’s wrong, but what’s important to you.

Together, we’ll define meaningful goals and develop practical, personalized strategies to help you move forward. I use evidence-based treatments while also considering the broader factors that shape your mental health, including past experiences, trauma, relationships, work stress, and life transitions. Care may include medication management, therapy, lifestyle guidance, or a thoughtful combination — always tailored to your needs and comfort level.

You won’t be talked at or rushed through appointments. You’ll be an active partner in your treatment, empowered with clarity about your options and confidence in your plan.

If you’re ready for care that is thoughtful, individualized, and centered around you, I am here for you. Let’s take the next step toward helping you feel steady, capable, and fully yourself again.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a starting point — not a test, not a commitment to anything you’re unsure about, and not something you have to “prepare” for perfectly. It’s simply a conversation focused on understanding you.

During our intake appointment, we’ll take the time to explore what’s brought you in, how your symptoms are affecting your daily life, and what you hope will feel different moving forward. You’ll have space to share your concerns, ask questions, and speak openly about your experiences at your own pace. There is no pressure and no judgment — just curiosity, clarity, and support.

We’ll review your history thoughtfully and collaboratively, and by the end of the session, you’ll have a clear understanding of your options. Together, we’ll begin outlining a personalized treatment plan that may include medication, therapy, lifestyle adjustments, or a combination — always tailored to your comfort level and goals.

My aim is that you leave your first appointment feeling relieved, informed, and hopeful — with practical next steps and a renewed sense of direction.

I would be honored to support you in that process.
