Great to meet you!

I am an energetic therapist who has 14 years of experience working with children, families, and adults. I have pivoted in my work to hone my focus with working with adults that experience symptoms of depression, trauma, anxiety, grief, and working with those who have experienced substance use. In therapy with me, you can expect that I will offer a grounded, collaborative experience to express your concerns and learn how to effectively manage them.

My approach to therapy

I take a patient centered approach to therapy - I view the patient as the expert on themselves, and I'm there to help explore what they would like to work on and help them achieve that desired outcome. I blend cognitive behavioral techniques with mindfulness techniques and motivational interviewing to help you identify goals, ways that we can accomplish those goals, and reframe unhelpful thoughts on the way. I practice in a trauma-informed, person-centered way allowing you to move at your own pace.

What you can expect from me

First meetings can always be intimidating - I like to discuss what some goals are that the patient may have, or what their pressing concerns are. I create a warm, welcoming environment to work on your goals together.
